Biography
I am a self-taught artist, who at an early age showed a talent for art. From elementary through junior high school, I drew comic books and comic book characters. In senior high school, I was introduced to the art of Salvador Dali, it was then I decided to become a fine arts painter. My main interest as a painter is in surrealism. I have won several awards and a mention in "The Artist Magazine" a national magazine. My biggest influence as a surrealist is Salvador Dali, as he is for many surrealist and on surrealism in general. If it weren't for Dali, I would probably not be painting now. Other influences are Rene Magritte and presently a French surrealist, Roland Heyder. I think art should say something, it should make you wonder not just repeat what you can already see, surrealism does that. That is why I call it unreal realism.
