Biography
Born in Stoke on Trent England, trained as a Ceramic Artist at Royal Doulton, self taught, and former owner of Claymore Studios art gallery Royal Mile Edinburgh. having worked closely with the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs I gained a deep interest in heraldic Art and history in general, starting my portfolio with Scottish Clan and Family heraldry and later including all uk family arms. I also specialise in military uniforms and regiments pre1900. All of my work is researched and referenced as much as possible and all hand painted. An artist trying to re-establish the phrase ' hand painted ' back into the world of Heraldic art.
