Biography
Creative at an early age Monica found outlet in many ways as a child. Often she would create works of "art" out of found materials around her childhood home in the wide open country of western Kansas. Those same wide open skies provided the inspiration for the name of her studio, Blue Room Photography, as she almost always shoots outdoors under the big blue sky. As is the case for many Monica fell in love during her freshman year of high school. The moment she wrapped her hands around that 35mm camera she was hooked. Her love affair with photography has been a major part of life ever since.
